A quaint but epic set piece with a medieval feel in a hypnotic 3:6 hybrid time signature. The producer who initially recorded the vocals worked in 4/4 simple time & used 16ths to guide him! So I had to work out the equivalent to 115 4/4 in 6/8, even though it feels like a waltz!

Like with all of our songs, there is always something new to hear within our punctilious mixes. This is no exception. We are not trying to be clever-dick! We just believe in giving songs longevity. I don't see a track as electronic; a genre, or even a production. I see it as a conductor sees his sheet music. Does classical sound cluttered? No! Because everything has it's place.

The biggest problem we faced was finding a vocalist for this project. This is the one exception. And we only obtained these through the stems of a competition. In many ways, its a shame no one ever gave us a chance to add vocals - over half the population can't tolerate music without singing. So this is a more of a glimpse into what could have been achieved having a centre to our songs.
